Devil's Footprint
The Rock is Still There...

The inaugural celebration took place on Sunday, September 28, 2025 on the northwest side of Meetinghouse Green in Ipswich, MA. The event marked the 285th anniversary of the Devil’s Footprint legend. The guiding line for the day was simple. The rock is still there. The story is still told.

The festival started at 10:00 am with a special sermon on the legend, and the entire event was free and open to the public. The day included live music, a panel discussion, a historical sermon reenactment, and a dramatic performance titled The Battle. Artists, musicians, preachers, scholars, skeptics, and community guests gathered to explore truth, myth, memory, and meaning.
